Let the bucking begin. Callen encourages Claysen to ride his back while Callen bucks like a bull or bronco. They've had a lot of fun and few crying spells doing this. Another round was just about to begin when we snaped this photo.
I am sure Rusty's Mom has an identical picture of Rusty like this when he was a kid. I have heard stories of the saddle doned cooler rodeos in garage of the Nye household. I guess somethings are just purely genetic!

Bumper Cars
We have two sit-n-scoot cars. I have always thought that was great. Two for sharing when a friend came over to play and now each boy has one of their own to ride.
Not today! The boys have been using them as bumper cars or possibly a demolition derby. I am not sure which. I wonder if this is the type of thing that only mothers of boys experience. Callen has knocked Claysen over a couple of times now. Claysen doesn't cry but doesn't laugh either. He whines and then gets back on for another round. Once when Claysen fell off I asked him, "Are you alright?" He looked at me and nodded yes while he was "boo hooing." Got back on and when at it again.
Now Callen is hauling the laundry basket full of clothes and Claysen is riding inside. Callen is refering to it as his trailer. Only the son of a cattle buyer!
