Claysen is now blowing raspberries. That is particularly fun when trying to feed him cereal! I think it is pretty cute. His tongue is so petite and dainty looking compared to the rest of him. I had him laughing pretty good the other day too, I need to record it and post it so you all can see. Rusty's cousin Shanan says he laughs like Rusty did when he was a baby. He is very close to sitting up and rolls over a little more frequently now. I think he is just such an easy going kid that he is just content laying on the floor or sitting in his seat. He will be mobile soon enough! I should loose this baby weight in no time when I have to chance two boys!
Callen has a new name. We will call him "bud" or "buddy" from time to time. Lately he adamently resists this name and will tell us he is not Bud, he is "Callen, Big Brother!" Oh the attitude and moods of a 3 yr old! We are planning Callen's big 3rd birthday for April 12th. His actual birthday is 4/9 (thanks Robin for lending your special day). I am going to attempt to make a 3-dimensional frog birthday cake to go with the big special "jumping" gift.

Tricky Toes
The other night as we were reading stories for bed Callen pulled his toes out from the covers and said, "Mom, my toes can do tricks!" So I was curious how he had trained his toes and wanted to see their tricks. I asked him to let me see them do their tricks. He started wiggling his toes, sort of crossing the smaller toes over the big toe, back and forth. He has shown his little brother his special toes, Daddy, and Maga and Oil (my parents). So next time you see his toes, please ask to see their tricks! They are very well trained!

First Words
Saturday morning as I was changing and dressing Claysen I was asking him to say some words. Callen was in the room with us too so the first thing I asked Claysen to say was "brother." He responded and mimicked what I said. It really did sound like brother. Next I asked him to say Daddy. He again mimicked me and said Dada. Next I asked him to say Mama..... he quit mimicking me! Typical.
Claysen loves to watch Callen. He is truly fascinated by him. He tries to reach out to him and laughs a lot when Callen is running around or dancing. That is best part about having two kids. Watching them interact and enjoy each other.
Claysen is almost sitting up, but still topples to the side a lot. He is so anxious to reach out and grab stuff and study it. He is talking a lot and loudly!
